* Ramayana: The Legend of Prince Rama is a 1992 Japanese-Indian animated film directed by Yugo Sako, Ram Mohan, and Koichi Saski. It is an adaptation of the Hindu epic Ramayana, and tells the story of Prince Rama, his wife Sita, and his brother Lakshmana, who fight the evil demon king Ravana to rescue Sita.
* The film was a co-production between the Japanese animation studio Toei Animation and the Indian animation studio Ram Mohan International. It was the first Japanese-Indian animated film ever made, and it was a critical and commercial success in both countries.
