* Shootout at Wadala is a 2013 Indian Hindi-language action crime film directed by Sanjay Gupta and produced by Gupta and Ronnie Screwvala under their respective banners White Feather Films and UTV Motion Pictures. The film is based on the 1982 Shootout at Wadala, in which the Mumbai Police killed gangster Manya Surve and 12 of his associates in an encounter. The film stars John Abraham as Manya Surve, with Anil Kapoor, Kangana Ranaut, Tusshar Kapoor, and Manoj Bajpayee in supporting roles.
